Cookie Policy

How Ordo Compliance uses cookies and similar technologies on our platform.

Version: 1.1

Effective Date: April 5, 2026

Last Updated: April 5, 2026

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website operators. Ordo Compliance uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to operate, secure, and improve our platform.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: To identify you when you log in to the platform and maintain your session.
  • Security: To protect your account and detect potential security threats, including CSRF protection.
  • Preferences: To remember your settings, such as sidebar state and notification preferences.
  • Performance: To understand how the platform is used and to improve performance.

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They include:

  • Session cookie (sessionid) — Maintains your authenticated session. Expires when you close your browser or after the configured inactivity timeout.
  • CSRF token (csrftoken) — Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Required for all form submissions.

3.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization:

  • Location preference — Remembers your selected location in multi-location agencies.
  • Sidebar state — Remembers whether the navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
  • Inspection mode — Tracks whether inspection mode is active for the current session.

3.3 Analytics Cookies

We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics). If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice.

Ordo Compliance minimizes the use of third-party cookies. The following third-party services may set cookies when you use the platform:

  • Crisp (live chat) — If enabled, Crisp may set cookies to provide customer support functionality.
  • Stripe (payment processing) — When you access billing pages, Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention.

We do not sell or share cookie data with third parties for advertising purposes.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
  • Block third-party cookies
  • Block cookies from particular sites
  • Block all cookies
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Note: Blocking strictly necessary cookies (session and CSRF cookies) will prevent you from logging in to and using the Ordo Compliance platform.

Ordo Compliance honors Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. When we detect a DNT signal, we do not load any optional third-party scripts that set tracking cookies.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
